About EduNotebook AI
Last updated: February 2026
Our Mission
EduNotebook AI exists to give Ontario teachers back their evenings and weekends. We believe curriculum planning should take minutes, not hours — and the quality should be better, not worse.
What We Do
EduNotebook AI is an AI-powered curriculum planning platform built specifically for Ontario K-8 teachers. We combine Google's latest AI models with deep knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum to generate complete, standards-aligned unit plans, assessments, rubrics, learning tasks, lesson plans, and presentation slides.
Built for Ontario
Unlike generic AI tools, EduNotebook AI understands the Ontario Curriculum natively. We have 1,429 Ontario Curriculum expectations across 10 subject frameworks built into our system with semantic search. Every unit plan follows Understanding by Design (UbD) and Growing Success assessment principles.
Our Technology
- Curriculum Brain — A 3-layer RAG system that combines standards, uploaded documents, and pedagogical design guides
- Semantic Standards Search — Find relevant expectations by concept, not just keyword
- AI Research Workspace — Perplexity AI-powered search for teaching resources
- Visual Slide Engine — Full-image presentation slides, not bullet-point decks
- Content Screening — Role-aware safety ensuring age-appropriate material
Free for Teachers
EduNotebook AI is free for individual teachers. We believe reducing adoption friction to zero is the fastest way to get this tool into the hands of educators who need it. School and district licensing is available for organizations wanting administrative features.
